La Boca is an independent design circus based in Portobello, West London. They specializing in art & design for the film, music and fashion industries, all industries I’m really excited about but it’s their work on limited edition vinyl record sleeves that I have especially enjoyed.

Client: Habitat
The series of posters I created for our Summer/Fall concert promo, launched in June 2010.

I dig forests, I dig the ocean. I often use them in my graphic work. They are awe-inspiring, vast and great unknowns. Inspired, unexplored regions wholly alien to our planet all while remaining a part of it. I see canyons in very much a similar fashion as oceans and forests. Both beautiful and both potentially dangerous. There is something electrifying about these places, where that even in pictures something can shake you up, deep down. These are the feelings I often hope to invoke.

These images were created for a new, illustrated edition of William Golding’s Lord of The Flies by (partial Canadian) New York based Illustrator Sam Weber. The interior images are four colour offset. Using contemporary illustration to accompany a much loved classic was an exciting challenge for Weber, made more so by the active involvement of the Golding Estate.
