Mel and Curtis from CREAM Hair and Makeup Salons and I have a relationship going back to 2005. Needless to say, when they decided to launch a product line they asked me if I’d be willing to help design it I was honoured and excited. I love concept-to-execution. The creative challenges and freedoms of starting with a logo idea and ending up with product in your hands is one of my favourites.
In one short month we designed the logo, eight products, a web marketing strategy (incl. website and social media) a 12 page booklet (incl. product information, inspiring quotes, menu and pricing), business cards and shelf talkers, all while Mel and Curtis managed the construction phase for CREAM one of their three salons.
It was exciting, hectic and inspirational.
